Accusations Of Gang Assault In Hornell

HORNELL, NY – Three Hornell teenage males have been charged with robbery in the 2nd degree, assault in the 2nd degree and gang assault in the 2nd degree. The teenage suspects are accused of assaulting a 44 year old man at the Adsit Place underpass at around 11pm, Tuesday night. Hornell Police say that the victim, who was treated and released from St. James Hospital, suffered a laceration to his face, severe contusions to his eye, pain in his neck, back and arms. According to officials, a cell phone and other items were stolen. All three teenagers appeared in Hornell City Court, and then remanded to Steuben County Jail.

That same night, Tuesday night, Hornell Police charged three other teenage males with criminal possession of marjuana in the 4th and 5th degrees.
