Earlier, we reported that 23 year old Gary Mullen III, of State Route 248, Canisteo, was facing accusations from Hornell Police, of breaking into a South Division Street home in Hornell. Below is a statement from Sheriff Jim Allard, Steuben County Sheriff’s Department –
It is alleged that Mr. Mullen entered and remained unlawfully in a residence on Seneca Road North, Hornell New York, with the intent of stealing a 2004 GMC pickup truck. It is further alleged that Mr. Mullen was located by the Rochester Police Department in Rochester, New York, in possession of the pickup truck. Mr. Mullen was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony, and Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony. Mr. Mullen was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 property bond.
Mr. Mullen is also currently facing charges from the City of Hornell Police Department. Sheriff Allard thanks the City of Hornell Police Department and the Rochester City Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
