ARKPORT, NY – Arkport Central Superintendent Glenn Niles says that enrollment is down at Arkport. Niles notes that the school system lost 60 students over the last two years, and have a total enrollment of 460 students this year.
In other Arkport news, winter sports numbers at Arkport Central are sufficient to keep the winter sports program going, except for JV cheer leading. Arkport Central is going to combine their varsity wrestling team with Canaseraga Central. Also, the Arkport Central School Board approved a salary increase for the two school principals, of 2.5 percent.
