GREENWOOD: Barbara L. Dehn, 71, of Kelly Rd. passed away peacefully Tuesday (August 16, 2016) at Highland Park Health Care Center in Wellsville, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born February 17, 1945 in Wellsville, to George and June (Glover) McCaffery.
Barbara lived most of her life in Greenwood and had been a registered nurse for the Southern Tier Home Health in Wellsville. She was a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church and the Greenwood Vol. Fire Dept. Barbara was a great lover of the outdoors where she enjoyed all of nature with all it had to offer, birds, flowers, trees and animals. She also enjoyed her time on a four wheeler with rides with her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by two daughters: Michelle (Kevin) Saatchi of Plattsville, Ontario, Canada and Rebecca (Charlie) Dean of Grand Valley, Pa. five wonderful grandchildren; Shauna and Devin Saatchi, Mark and Christina Watson, and Brandon (Meghan) Dean. One great granddaughter: Kaylynn Dean. Barbara is also survived by a sister: Sally (Mason) Burdick of Greenwood, a brother George “Skeet” (Jayne) McCaffery of Greenwood and nieces and nephews: Todd (Sherene) Burdick and sons Patrick and Nicholas, Tiffany (Shawn) Horton and son Cogan, Corey (Marcy) McCaffery and children, Hailey, Hannah, Hunter and Harley.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Greenwood Vol. Fire Dept. where a memorial service will take place immediately following calling hours at 4 pm.
