Belmont Woman Found Guilty of Selling Cocaine in Hornell

May 10, 2019

BATH, NY – Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker is announcing that Kristen Hand, 38, Belmont, was found guilty of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Third Degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the Third degree.

D.A. Baker, who tried the case, noted the hard work of Hornell Police Sgt. Investigator Tom Aini and Officer Curtis Stanford, in this case. “Investigator Tom Aini and Officer Curtis Stanford, working with a civilian who was out to do the right thing, put together a very solid case – so solid, it took the jury less than 45 minutes to render the guilty verdict,” Baker said. “Steuben County is a really bad place to deal drugs.”
