BATH, NY – The Corning Leader reports that Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker said that the Appeals Court’s order to re-sentencing Richard Van Gorden, “was based on a frustratingly technical reading of the law.’
Van Gorden, who was from Addison, rammed into a trooper vehicle and fired bullets at State Police Officers Joshua Bacon and Thomas Khork in 2011 on County Route 66 in the Town of Hornellsville.
