We are going to have another Community Mingle, hosted by The Wimodaughsian Library, to help community members become more familiar with what our first responders do and what equipment they have. There will be demonstrations by the Canisteo Police Department featuring K9 Dex, and the Canisteo Fire Department and Ambulance crews will bring vehicles down for tours. The purpose is to explain to children how these people and their equipment help everyone. The best part? This will take place Friday September 27 from 3pm to 6 pm and the members of The Canisteo Police Club will be handing out grilled hotdogs and chips! The Fire Department is contributing ice cold drinks, and the Ambulance Crew will make sure the children get candy. Stop in before the home football game and get dinner while you mingle with your first responders!
