Caton Man Charged After Alleged Domestic Incident

STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – Sheriff Jim Allard reports that today, deputies arrested Jimmy Rouse, 77, of Caton. Sheriff Allard says that deputies responded to a 911 report of a male who had a loaded firearm on Hendy Hollow Road in Caton.

Rouse is accused of endangering two men with a loaded firearm. Mr. Rouse was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, a Class D Felony. Mr. Rouse was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail, to appear in Caton Town Court at a later date.
