LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY – State Police are reporting that seven people fell over the lower falls on Saturday night at Letchworth State Park. According to troopers, five of the seven people have been found alive, and that their injuries range from being minor to serious. However, two young children, ages 6 and 9, are dead. State Police and the state Park Police are actively searching for one of the children, the other child’s body was found on Sunday afternoon.
Officials say that this is an ongoing investigation and the names of the parties involved are not being released at this time.
