HORNELL, NY – The Hornell Industrial Development Agency held their monthly meeting Thursday afternoon and numerous resolutions were discussed and passed.
Hornell IDA director Jim Griffin said he met with Alstom officials recently and agreed to bring a resolution to the board to continue the rent reduction program while Alstom rebuilds it contract base.
The IDA board unanimously agreed to grant Alstom another 6 months at a reduced rate of $175,000.
Griffin also mentioned that the board will be considering redoing the entire lease for Alstom in the near future.
