Congressman Reed’s VA Reform Vote

Congressman Reed’s VA Vote
July 31, 2014

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) has voted to support reforms to the VA.

Reed says the bill calls for hiring more doctors and nurses at VA’s and creating 27 new VA facilities.
“This is a way to focus on what matters most when it comes to veterans – their care,” Reed said. “These reforms put veterans’ health needs first, above all else. Giving veterans the freedom to choose a doctor outside of the VA that’s closer to home and getting rid of employees who aren’t doing their jobs – these are fair reforms,” said Reed.

Also, a new anti-Martha Robertson website has been launched: www.extremeithacaliberal.com, which is about his Democrat opponent Martha Robertson (D, Dryden)
