HORNELL, NY – Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) stopped by Hornell on Monday for a visit to TTA, on William Street in Hornell. “Impressive,” Reed said, after a tour of the Transitair Systems facility. “You can see the growth, now you’ve got 70 plus people working there in front of us. And we’re talking about an expansion opportunity, the 5,000 square foot possible expansion, that tells me that we’re moving in the right direction.”
TTA officials were pleased to hear the congressman discuss the possible future expansion. “Is it 100 percent guarunteed yet? Probably not, but we’re looking at expansion to increase our truck shop,” TTA Managing Director Mike Nisbet said. “There would be an addition of employees as our volume grows.”
