Cuomo Start Up Ads
You may have seen those ads on national TV telling what a great place New York State is for starting a business. Most businesses complain about the many rules and regulations to say nothing of the taxes facing business owners in New York and the fact is that many businesses have been leaving the Empire State.
Now we learn that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has spent $15 million on those come to New York with your business ads. Critics say Cuomo is just using taxpayer money to promote his own national political ambitions.
The advertisements have aired across country since Dec. 10.
They promote the state as one that is open to business while showing scenes of manufacturing plants and high-tech firms, before touting a summary of the tax-free plan.
