BATH, NY – The Steuben County 9-1-1 Center is reporting that the New York State Department Of Transportation will be doing paving on State Route 961F, from the Allegany County Towns of Burns to the Hornellsville area.

Here’s what the release says:

Weather permitting, on Friday, August 22, the second course of paving on State Route 961F will begin from the intersection with State Route 70 in the Town of Burns, Allegany County, and continue approximately 5.1 miles toward the Village of Arkport, in the Town of Hornellsville, Steuben County. Traffic will be maintained with a one-lane, two-way traffic pattern controlled by flag persons. Please note, this single lane operation may be up to two miles in length to allow for proper cure time of the pavement course before allowing traffic on to the pavement. This course should be completed by Saturday, August 23.
