HORNELL, NY – On Sunday evening, Hornell anathesiologist Dr. Ismail Mehr posted the following, on his Facebook page:
Was part of an emergency response teleconference regarding the areas affected by Harvey earlier today. Disastrous of epic proportions. Immediate needs are water, food and shelter. A coalition of American Muslim Organizations are already on the ground working with the Red Cross and FEMA. We are currently procuring water, food and blankets to be trucked in and distributed. Every dollar helps and will go towards helping our fellow Americans.
