Errigo Seeking Re-Election

June 13,2018

From Assemblyman Joe Errigo’s Office:

Assemblyman Joseph A. Errigo (R,C,I,Ref-Conesus) today kicked off his re-election campaign. Errigo has been endorsed by the Monroe County and Steuben County Republican Committees and has received the endorsement of the New York State Independence Party and the Monroe County Conservative Party.

“Regardless of where you live, you deserve an assemblyman who’s not chosen by party bosses and special interests and who will continue to fight for you and the people of the 133rd District,” said Errigo. “We pay too much in taxes, the state spends lavishly on failed pet projects, and we have an unhinged governor working overtime to take away our gun rights. Albany politicians are out of touch with upstate and it needs to change now.

“As a veteran of the Marine Corps, I am committed to honoring the service of our veterans and helping those struggling to get the help they need. I have been out knocking on doors, speaking directly to voters and working hard to make sure your voice is heard. More than ever, we need to unite to protect our upstate values and I look forward to campaigning on behalf of the people of the 133rd Assembly District.”

Errigo was elected to the New York State Assembly on November 8, 2016. His district includes parts of Monroe, Livingston and Steuben counties. He also served in the New York State Assembly (130th District) from 2001-2010. Throughout his tenure in the Assembly, he has been a tireless advocate for protecting our Second Amendment rights and fighting to reduce the burden on our hardworking taxpayers.

His experiences as the owner of Tiro Reporting Service and Errigo Sand and Gravel allow him to understand the difficulties small-business owners face. He served as Ranking Minority Member on the Assembly’s Children and Families Committee, where he worked on legislation that directly impacts the lives of New York’s youth and helps create laws that enhance the juvenile justice system and delinquency prevention programs.

He lives in Conesus with his wife, Kathy, and has three children: Sam, Mary Ellen and Joe, and six grandchildren.
