Fatal Accident in Bolivar

BOLIVAR, NY – State Police are reporting the death of Trevor Randall, 19, of Little Genesee. Troopers say that Sunday morning, at about 10:45am, the driver of a vehicle lost control on ice covered roadway, struck several trees, continued over an embankment and came to rest in a creek bed.
The driver, Nicholas Austin, 17 of Little Genesee, along with 2 other passengers, Chrisian Slater, 19 of Friendship, and Michael Updyke, 16, of Allentown, NY were all taken to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY for treatment of minor injuries.
Trevor Randall was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say the accident is still under investigation.
