SPRINGWATER, NY – State Police report that there was a fatal two vehicle accident on Route 15A in Springwater on Sunday. “Lisa Price, 42 of Lima, was operating a 2009 Kia Rio south bound on State Route 15a,” a state police spokesperson said. “Price was attempting to turn left into a State Forest trail access parking area, when she turned into the path of an oncoming, 2008 Mitsubishi Mirage driven north bound by Paul Russell, age 51 of Springwater. Carl Edwards, age 67 of Elnora, IN, a passenger in Price’s vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deborah Edwards, age 59 of Elnora, IN, also a passenger of Price’s, was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Lisa Price, was transported via Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital. In addition to Springwater Fire Department, State Police were assisted at scene by Livingston County EMS, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.”
