Father Jerry Moynihan
The body of Father Jerry Moynihan will lie in state Wednesday from 4 until 7pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Flower City Park in Rochester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at the cathedral Thursday following an opportunity for people to pay last respects from 9 to 10:30am.
Father Moynihan died last Friday at the age of 74. He had been pastor at St. Ignatius Church and chaplain at St. James Hospital before being transferred to Elmira. A Memorial Mass will be offered Friday April 11th at St. Ann’s in Hornell for Father Moynihan.
