ALBANY, NY – Governor Andrew Cuomo wants flags on state government buildings at half-staff on Friday, in honor of a Fort Drum Soldier who died in Afghanistan this past Monday.
The governor says that Specialist Kyle Gilbert died in a non-hostile incident.
Gilbert was assigned to the 14th Infantry Regiment of the 10th Mountain Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team. He was from Buford, Georgia.
