ARKPORT, NY – Arkport Village Mayor Charlie Flanders says that with the improvements to Arkport’s water supply, the water debt service charges and line service charges are causing an increase in what Arkport water users have to pay for water service. Mayor Flanders says that’s in order to pay for the loan that arkport village hall got from the USDA.
Flanders also says there’s a formula that has to be followed on how much to charge for water service, and that formula is from the USDA. The loan that Arkport got, was worth three million dollars.
