Former Bradford Fire Dept. Treasurer Pleaded Guilty

BATH, NY – New York State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli reported today that former Bradford Volunteer Fire Company Treasurer, Sherry Hamilton, pleaded guilty to 4th degree Grand Larceny after an audit and investigation found she misappropriated approximately $8,500 in fire company funds.

The comptroller’s office worked with State Police and Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker on this case.

Sherry Hamilton was charged originally in July 2016, and will be sentenced on May 23.
State Comptroller Dinapoli thanked the D.A. and the troopers for their work on this case.
