ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – The Amity State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation reports the arrest of Scott Luce, 33 of Genesee, PA. Luce is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree.
According to troopers, it was in January of 2016, that Amity BCI received a report of possible embezzlement involving the Town of Independence Rescue Squad Funds. Officials say that the investigation revealed that Luce had stolen over $10,000, during 2013 and 2014 while he was Treasurer.
Luce is was recently elected as the Town Supervisor Genesee, PA, and was was arraigned at the Town of Willing Court.
