Hornell Board of Education Gets Updates on Capitol project – Announces Fall Coaches

HORNELL, NY – At Wednesday night’s monthly Hornell Board of Education meeting Mick Pavlick, Project Superintendent from Welliver Construction, gave an update on the current capitol project. Approved were low bidders on the Intermediate School Pool, Locker Rooms, and Roofs. The awards are as follows:

General Contract went to Kinley Corp in the amount of $1,299,600.

HVAC went to Lawman Heating & Cooling for $578,000.

Plumbing Contract to Nairy Mechanical for $319,700.

Electrical to Schuler Haas for $224,000.

Roofing Contract, including alternates 2 through 6, to Hale Roofing.

Pool Equipment contract to William L. Watson for $336,000.

In other news the board announced their fall head coaches:

Football – Erik Werner

Boys Soccer – Jim Tobin

Girls Soccer – Mike Wilkinson

Cross Country – Damian DeMarco

Girls Swimming – Eileen Marino

Volleyball – Katie Kenney

Cheerleading – TBA

And finally it was announced that the winner of the Jack Lisi award was Alexis Hayes.
