Hornell BOE Approves Bid for Capital Outlay Project

January 4, 2016

HORNELL, NY – The Hornell Board of Education approved a lowest bid for a Carbon Monoxide Capital Outlay Project for $240,000 at Wednesday night’s monthly BOE meeting. The bid went to Blackmon Farrell Electric, Inc. General Trades Work. Hopefully the project will be completed by May so the school will get reimbursed accordingly.

Also an update was given on the rest of the project pertaining to the parking lot behind the Junior/Senior High School with the new access routes to the school building. Bidding has been delayed because the entry point to the school has been changed to a drop-off point at the north side of the building/parking area to south side.
