Hornell Police: Find Meth and Acid Inside East Avenue Home

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police have charged Patrick Leary Sr, 43, Patrick Leary Jr, 23, both of 144 1/2 East Avenue, and Renea Haight, 25, Armory Place. Police went into 144 1/2 East Avenue, executing a search warrant. Hornell Police report finding 7.4 grams of Meth, as well as Acid, Shrooms and concentrated cannabis. Patrick Leary Sr and Renea Haight are in Steuben County Jail, after being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree. The charges against Patrick Leary Jr are Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The investigation was led by Sgt. Aini, and included Captain Mike Sexsmith, Sgt. Ryan Harrison, Sgt. Todd Giglio, Officer Brett Flaitz, Officer Michael Hoyt, Officer Curtis Stanford, Officer J.R. Emo, Officer Stuart McHenry and Officer Pete McDaniels. HPD was also assisted by the Steuben County District Attorneys Office.
