Hornell Residents Accused Of Providing Alcohol and Marijuana To 12 and 13 Year Olds

NORTH HORNELL, NY – State Police report that Diana Crooks, 58, Hornell, is accused of providing alcohol to 12 and 13 year olds, and allowing them to smoke marijuana that was allegedly provided to the youths by Robert Dowdle Jr., 39, Hornell.
 
Troopers say that the arrests stem from an incident that occurred in June, at Lot #6 of 1143 Airport Road in the Town of Hornellsville. Crooks is alleged to have provided juveniles between the ages of 12 and 13 with alcohol and allowed them to smoke marijuana provided by Dowdle.
 
Crooks and Dowdle were both issued appearance tickets.
The State Police were assisted by Steuben County Child Protective Services and the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office.
