Hornellsville Officials To Meet Again With Maple Mountain

December 9th, 2014

ARKPORT, NY – The Hornellsville town board met Tuesday evening and passed two resolutions. First was the approval of a new five year contract with the town highway board.  Town Supervisor Ken Isaman noted that this contract contains a zero percent pay increase for 2015.

Also passed was the approval for town highway superintendent Jason Emo to purchase a roadside mower for the price of $80,000. Emo told the board that the cost would be offset by trading in the old roadside mower for $30,000.

In the superintendent’s report, Isaman said that he and board member Jim Giglio will be meeting with the owner of Maple Mountain Resort today, to discuss the possibility of bringing water and sewer to the location.  Isaman explained that the main focus of the meeting will be listening to a proposal on how Maple Mountain plans to pay for the services. Isaman also made a point to say that the cost is entirely on Maple Mountain, and not the taxpayers.

Also board member Joe Dick was commended for his years of service to the town as this will be his last meeting.
