April 12, 2016

Arkport, NY – Jenny Jamison attended last nights monthly Hornellsville Town Board meeting with a few requests for Arkport Cycles upcoming event. The Moving Wall, a tribute to Vietnam Veterans, will be at Arkport Cycles June 2nd through the 6th and in order to accommodate the 5000 plus people attending per day traffic and parking changes are needed.

During the event, Industrial Park Road will be limited to one way traffic and additional parking will be located at the former Kmart Plaza and the town of Hornellsville Highway lot. Shuttle buses will run from each location on a regular basis. Jamison told the board that they can expect as many as 20,000 people during the 5 days the tribute runs.

Town Supervisor Ken Isaman had a brief Planning board and Supervisors report but did say it will be more informative in May when they hear back from both competing wind farms. Also next month their will be and update on the new Hospital being built in North Hornell.
