John Joseph “JJ” Flansburg III, of Bath, formerly of Hornell

BATH/HORNELL-John Joseph “JJ” Flansburg III, 57, of Bath, formerly of Hornell, passed away Saturday afternoon (April 18, 2015) at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira.

 
Born in Hornell on Aug. 4, 1957, he was predeacesed by his parents, John J. and Patricia McMahon Flansburg and Debbie Coxford.

 
A graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1975, John also graduated from Geneseo State College with a Teaching degree.

 
He was along time waiter of area restaurants and enjoyed designing and baking.

 
John touched everyone he came in contact with because of his loving and caring nature.

 
His loving family includes his brother, Thomas Flansburg (Mary Ann DiDio) of Fremont; his sister, Kelly (Brian) Mehlenbacher of Hornell; a brother, Scott (Sara) Coxford of Elmira; his two nephews, Christopher (Julia) Gardiner of Baldwinsville and their children, C.J. and Alexander and nephew, Patrick Gardiner of Maryland; and his son, Devin; also several aunts, uncles and cousins; his two special friends, Dawn Ewell and Tracy Squires, as well as his cat, Bo Bo Kitty.

To honor his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
