Judy Ann Leach, of Bath

BATH, NY-Judy Ann Leach, 61, of Robbins Road., passed away peacefully Friday (January 29, 2016) at her home.

Born in Dansville, June 27, 1954, the daughter of Clarence and Joan Freeland Coombs, she had resided her early life in the Canisteo-Adrian area, and in the Bath area since 1993. Judy had been employed as a Nursing Staffing Coordinator for the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath.

Judy attended the Canisteo Wesleyan Church, and enjoyed reading, sun bathing, lawn work, flowers, dogs, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her Maternal grandparents, Paul and Laura Freeland, her paternal grandparents, Shelley and Marinda Coombs and her nephew Jeremy Coombs.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Leach to whom she was married March 21. 1993, her parents, Clarence and Joan Coombs of Hornell, her daughter, Valarie (Damon) Roark of Maryland, her sons Martin Woodard of Bath, Christopher Woodard of Hornell, and Kirk Leach of Bath, three sisters, Indy (David) King of Savona, Janine (Tim) Doane of Elmira Heights, and Kelly (Karl) Thompson of Canisteo, two brothers, Daniel (Debra) Coombs of Adrian and Robin (Denise) Coombs of Perkinsville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Marino (Kat Walter), Logan, Maddox and Kylie Roark, Oonagh and Ellie Woodard, Tayler and Hannah Woodard as well as her father-in-law Elmer(Lina) Leach of Brazil, Sister-in-law Cathy (David) Emerson of Maryland, and Brother-in-law, David Leach of Bath, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 4 PM until 6PM on Monday, February 1, 2016, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo. Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 6:00 PM. Rev Donald Maynard will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
