STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – On August 11, Larry “Hot Dog” Stephens and North Hornell Village Trustee Frank Libordi filed a lawsuit against Ken Isaman. The August 11th lawsuit sought to have Isaman removed from either the Hornellsville Town Supervisor’s job or the Steuben County Risk Manager’s job, because of an alleged conflict.
Isaman resigned from the County Risk Managers job on Tuesday of this week, saying he wanted to prevent the Town and County from going through a lawsuit.
The latest chapter of this story is that Stephens and Libordi have amended their original lawsuit. Now, instead of accepting the either-or scenario of Isaman either stepping down from being county risk manager or Hornellsville Town Supervisor, Libordi and Stephens now say they want Isaman to resign from being Hornellsville Town Supervisor. In the amendment to the lawsuit, Libordi and Stephens also say they now want to see what Isaman was paid by the Sweeney Agency, while Isaman was County Risk Manager, and while Isaman has been Hornellsville Town Supervisor.
