Mayor Hogan: Old St James Building Would Be Perfect For Medical Research Offices

HORNELL, NY – Mayor Shawn Hogan says that Trinity Health will continue to own the Canisteo Street St. James Building, after St. James is relocated into North Hornell.
The mayor says that one idea is a medical research offices in the old Canisteo Street facility, after the hospital makes their move to North Hornell. “One thing that I see in my mind, is to work with local education facilities, and possibly assist in some of the structures becoming an incubator for high tech purposes or research and development center. It’s set up perfectly for that. But definitely, we’re not going to let those buildings sit there vacant.”
