It’s New Years Eve, and in the past two nights, there have been meetings in Hornell, Hornellsville and North Hornell, on three topics:
One – the Lowe’s Payment in lieu of taxes deal where PILOT money is paid to Hornell, North Hornell and Hornellsville, and how the Lowe’s Pilot is being renegotiated to prevent it from ending.
Two – some 1992 issues related to the WalMart Plaza.
Three – the 1999 Hornell airport deal.
In a statement Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan gave to WLEA last night, Hogan explains all three deals. The statement lasts just over four minutes.
