TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY – Democrat congressional candidate Martha Robertson has a new political ad out. It’s the first ad for Robertson, and it’s called “Martha Robertson, For the Middle Class, Not For Millionaires.” The narrator opens the commercial by saying “Tom Reed has gone to everyone but us,” and explains to viewers that Reed created tax loopholes for the big corporations, and giving “tax breaks to millionaires like himself”, while raising taxes on the middle class.
Katherine Pudwill, Reed’s campaign spokesperson, denies the statements made about the Corning Republican, and calls the ad “false”. Pudwill also issued a separate email, noting a recent McClatchy poll that states that Robertson has a two percent chance of winning.
