Nojay, Reed and Buckley Helping Trump’s NYS Campaign

April 7, 2016

Assemblyman Bill Nojay (R, Pittsford) and Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) have been named Co-Chairs of the New York State Trump for President Campaign. Nojay, who represents Hornell and Hornellsville, Prattsburgh, Wayland, Cohocton, and the Steuben County Town of Dansville, met with Donald Trump on five occasions in 2013 and 2014 to encourage him to run for Governor. Nojay has also been part of a team organizing New York State for Mr. Trump’s Presidential run since the Summer of 2015.

Congressman Reed recently met with Mr. Trump in Washington, accompanied by Congressional Co-Chair Chris Collins, who was the first Member of Congress to endorse Trump last month. Collins represents a district which ranges from the Buffalo suburbs to Monroe County.

John Buckley, Alderman and Deputy Mayor of Hornell, has been named to the Regional Steering Committee supporting Donald Trump’s campaign. Buckley was also part of the effort by New York Republican leaders to convince Mr. Trump to enter politics, and met with Mr. Trump in his Trump Tower headquarters in 2014.

It is expected Mr. Trump will be in Buffalo and Rochester for rallies over the next 10 days.
