TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY – The New York State Young Democrats have endorsed Leslie Danks Burke for State Senate in the 58th District. “I am grateful to the New York State Young Dems and the Rural Caucus for their endorsement and I look forward to working with them on the campaign,” said Danks Burke. “In the current political climate it’s easy to understand why young voters become disengaged. I believe we need to make real changes in our state legislature, including passing comprehensive ethics reform, to prove to the next generation that we can in fact create real, lasting and positive change through political action.”
