October 18th: Allegany County Has Nine More Cases Since Yesterday

Yesterday, Wlea reported that there were 49 new cases, today, there are 11 new Covid-19 cases there.

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 8.14 million people, and there have been over 219,500 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 484,281 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,644 deaths statewide.  As of 1:15 p.m. on October 18, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

 

Confirmed Cases:  228

Recovered Cases:  159

COVID-19 Related Deaths:  3 

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  2,144

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 1,826

Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  318

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  1,059

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  773

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  36
