Over Two Dozen Students At One Local School Refused The Common Core Tests

Common Core tests are going on this week and locally, 27 students have opted out of the tests at Alfred-Almond.  That’s according to Alfred-Almond School Superintendent Rich Calkins.

Rich Calkins has updated the numbers, Calkins says that the total number of students who are not taking the tests is 62 students.

In Hornell, Superintendent Doug Wyant says it’s a significant number that have opted out.
