CANISTEO-The Canisteo Village Clerk says shelter is available at the Canisteo American Legion on West Main, Canisteo, NY.
HORNELL-There are numerous downed trees and downed power lines in Hornell.
Trees are down on many streets, and power lines are downed on Glen Ave, Catherine street, and possibly other locations as well. Also there are many low hanging power lines on many Hornell Streets. This information comes to us from Hornell Mayor John Buckley, The Mayor asks for people’s patience saying crews are getting around as quickly as possible. Buckley also says DPW crews have been out since 1 AM this morning.
