WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) has been holding off, to see if Wisconsin Republican Congressman Paul Ryan is going to go for the House Speaker’s job, before Reed decides who to support for speaker. “Until that occurs, I think that the more prudent course that we’re taking is to wait and see if Paul gets in,” Reed told WLEA News on Monday.
Congressman Reed also notes that there should be a debate on the pro’s and con’s of each candidate after Ryan announces.
