Rochester Man Indicted For Allegedly Making Threats Against Officials

ROCHESTER, NY – The U.S. Attorneys Office says a Rochester man has been indicted, for allegedly making death threats against President Obama, Governor Cuomo and Lt. Governor Bob Duffy.

The suspect, a 30 year old Rochester man, is alleged to have posted threats online about Obama, Cuomo and Duffy.

According to public information officer Barbara Burns, Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig R. Gestring, who is handling the case, the suspect posted online threats to kill President Obama. Correa also posted threats to kill Governor Cuomo and Lieutenant Governor Duffy. The defendant was interviewed shortly after posting the threats to kill the President and told a Secret Service Agent that the President was “evil” and that he had to “die”.
