SCAM ALERT – Heads up Hornell business owners and community members – We just received a call from a (402) area code asking to confirm our name and address and other information, after we asked repeatedly for them to clarify who was calling, they stated they were calling on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce. — They absolutely are NOT calling on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce as we confirmed since HPG is in the office above the Chamber we were able to debunk that scam pretty fast. Please share and remind friends and family not to give out information over the phone unless YOU made the phone call to them, not them to you.
