School Bus Accident in Mount Morris

MOUNT MORRIS, NY – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident that happened on State Route 408 in Mount Morris on Saturday. Officials say that a sedan and a Rochester City School Bus, with 24 people inside, had some sort of collision. The sheriff’s office says that the accident is still under investigation, but weather and road conditions are believed to have played a factor. The driver of the sedan, a 33 year old female, was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Three students were also transported to the hospital by ambulance, for treatment of minor injuries.

On scene for The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office were Chief Deputy Burgess, Sergeant Swanson, Sergeant VanAuken (FIU), Deputy Moran (FIU), Deputy Greco and Deputy Butterbrodt. Additionally, Mount Morris Fire/EMS, Nunda Fire/EMS, Livingston County EMS, Dansville EMS and Avon EMS responded to the scene.
