Search Underway for Missing Kanona Woman
The Steuben Country Sheriff’s Office is conducting a search for a Kanona woman who was last seen Wednesday evening walking in the middle of Chamberlain Road in the Town of Bath. She appeared disoriented and confused.
Deputies say Bobbie Jo Hatter, 40, was last seen wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a black jacket with white stripes.
Investigators say they have searched the immediate area and conducted interviews with numerous family members and friends, so far with negative results. State Police and Forest Rangers are conducting a wider search of the area around County Route 14 in the Town of Bath, including the use of a NYSP helicopter.
