Senator Schumer Says He’ll Block Nominee To USDA

August 24, 2017

U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer says that President Donald Trump should pull the nomination of Sam Clovis for a position at the USDA, or he will work to block the nomination in the U.S. Senate. Schumer does not want Clovis in the job that President Trump nominated him for, because Clovis does not believe in climate change.

Clovis got on the bad side of many liberals when working as a talk show host in Iowa, where he has been quoted as having said things like lbgtq behavior is a choice, and that same sex marriage could lead to pedophilia of adopted children. Clovis is also said to have talked on his radio show in Iowa, about how he believed that former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and former Democratic National Committtee head Tom Perez, were racists.
