Sheriff Allard: Street Drugs In Corning, Come From Williamsport

May 13, 2017

STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – Sheriff Jim Allard tells Wlea News that in this part of the county, illegal drugs come in to the Hornell area from the City of Rochester. This is evidenced by the many arrests of Steuben County residents, driving back to the Canisteo Valley from Rochester, with numerous bags of heroin, cocaine and other street drugs in their vehicles.

However, for Corning area and surrounding towns, Sheriff Allard says that the drugs often come in from the State of Pennsylvania, specifically Williamsport.

The sheriff will talk more about this on Monday’s 1480 Club with John Lewis.
