Sister Mary Andre passed away Wednesday (January 27, 2016), four days before her 94th birthday. For more than 77 years, she lived as a Sister of Mercy. During her 31 years of nursing, she had been Head Nurse, as well as director of nursing services and an instructor at the Nursing School at St. James Hospital in Hornell.
Friends of Sister Mary Andre may call from 4-7PM Monday (February 1, 2016) at Mercy Center, 1437 Blossom Road, in Brighton. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11AM at Mercy Center.
