St. James CEO Jennifer Sullivan Responds To Mayor Hogan’s Statements

February 17, 2015

HORNELL, NY – Earlier today, we reported that Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan announced during last night’s Common Council meeting, that he was not happy that the hospital only told him about how to apply for DSRIP (Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment) money to get ambulances. The mayor says that’s because the deadline for the 54 page application is this Friday.

Here is the statement from St. James CEO Jennifer Sullivan:

“A key provision of our planning is to ensure that Hornell’s first responders have the resources necessary to serve the community as the new vision takes effect, and we are engaged in an ongoing dialogue with Hornell officials, regional partners and the Department of Health on these matters. We alerted Mayor Hogan to the availability of DSRIP funding for transportation when we first became aware of it, and we will do all we can to support the city’s application.”
