Troopers: About 200 Marijuana Plants Found In South Hornell

SOUTH HORNELL, NY – State Police got a tip, about marijuana growing at 6153 South Hornell Road. State Troopers say that upon arrival, they saw 198 marihuana plants growing in plain view. Troopers interviewed the home owner, James M. Jackson who admitted to unlawfully growing the marijuana plants. According to State Police, James M. Jackson, age 54, of Hornellsville, N.Y., was charged with one count of Unlawfully Growing of Cannabis, a class “A” misdemeanor. Jackson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Hornellsville Court on July 5.
